Weekly Recap – June 27th, 2014

I’m giddy with effervescent joy at how well-received my post was yesterday. Thanks for taking the time to read it. Part Two should be ready for your eyes next week. You guys are awesome.

Other than that, my at-least-250-words-a-day writing streak has reached 21 days and thankfully, shows no signs of slowing. I think 250 was really the magic number. There are days when I do not want to write whatsoever but I force myself because it’s “only 250 words.” And like a good bout of exercise, I’m always glad I did it after its done. The $50 sitting on my desk is glad as well; its grown rather attached to me.

I’m on call for any work issues this weekend, but it’s the first time in two months that I’m not actually scheduled for anything. I think it’s time celebrate with an inadvertent bear cub twerk:

Hope you all have a wonderful weekend!

  1. “bear cub twerk”?

Before I read that, I was all awwwww, how cute! Now I can’t get that woman out of my head.

That’s still a cute bear. Good luck with your 250. I may steal that idea.

  2. It’s nice to set our target word goal low so that we can achieve it and feel motivated. How low that count is will differ for all of us, but I find I’m often able to do more once I’ve started. But it always allows me to do the bare minimum if that’s all I can squeeze in.

  3. Glad you’re keeping up with your 250 words a day! That’s awesome.
The bear cubs are adorable! I agree with others who said they would rather see a bear cub twerking than others. :-)
