Weekly Recap – February 1st, 2014 (Late Edition)

I’m half-fulfilling my promise last week of having more exciting news on Friday. It’s not Friday, but the news is exciting:

My Baby

11 Weeks Along

This is the first for my wife and I.

Yeah, so from what everyone tells me, this changes things…beginning with the fact that we’re moving in the middle of February to a bigger place. We were already wedged in a little. Not that a baby takes a lot of space, but it seems everything that comes with one does.

So a new adventure is about to begin. I’m anxious, but mostly excited!

Hope you all enjoy your weekend!

-Phillip

  1. Wow! Congratulations, Beatbox! Errr, Phillip! (Ah, the good ole’ days, when I used to have to make sure I didn’t accidentally say your name…)

Anyway, you’re right, this IS huge news!!! Congrats again!

  3. Congratulations, Phillip! It’s true, life will never be the same, but you won’t want it to be. Intimidating at the outset, to be sure, but it won’t be long before you can’t even remember Life Before Baby. Really excited for you! The best book I ever read (that I wish someone had recommended to me before I became a mother): Healthy Sleep Habits, Happy Child.

  4. Phillip!!! Congratulations!! I have two words for your wife: pickles and ice cream. (I guess that’s three words.) That’s the old cliche craving pregnant women are known to have.

    • Thank you Linda! She will certainly appreciate the forthcoming ice cream even more. :D No pickle cravings yet though… But she has really been all about bean, rice and cheese burritos. Can’t get enough of those.. lol
